The MDT TAC21 chassis is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and Type III hard-anodized for durability. Its skeletonized adjustable butt-stock lets you fine-tune length of pull to 15.5 inches, while the AR buffer extension and CAA polymer pistol grip add familiar ergonomics and accessory compatibility.
Remington’s 24-inch carbon-steel barrel features a heavy contour and free-floating design inside the chassis handguard, helping manage heat and maintain consistent point of impact during extended strings of fire. The lack of factory sights keeps the profile clean for optics, and the integrated 20 MOA rail offers ample space for scopes, night-vision devices, or clip-on thermals.
The installed Timney single-stage trigger provides a crisp break, complementing the Model 700’s reliable two-lug bolt and two-position safety. Feeding is accomplished through AICS-pattern detachable magazines, and this rifle ships with one 8-round steel mag—boosting capacity over the standard 5-round setup.
Finished entirely in matte black, the rifle’s steel receiver, aluminum chassis, and carbon-steel barrel present a unified, non-reflective appearance that’s equally at home on the range, in the field, or on a duty rifle.
