Bob Munden’s reputation for lightning-fast, competition-ready revolvers is well earned, and this SAA shows why. The barrel is neatly roll-marked “CUSTOM BY: Bob Munden,” while the back-strap carries the bold engraving “HANG ’EM,” leaving no doubt about its pedigree.
Munden’s action work delivers a crisp, light trigger and smooth hammer travel, yet retains the Colt’s classic single-action feel. Fire-blued screws and the original color case-hardened frame add vivid contrast to the high-polish blued cylinder and barrel.
The one-piece ivory-colored grips feature a relief-carved longhorn steer motif that complements the Old West aesthetic while providing a secure hold. Factory black hard-rubber panels are also included for those who prefer the original grip profile.
Built in Colt’s 3rd Generation series, this revolver wears a 4.75-inch steel barrel—arguably the most balanced length for quick handling—and retains the traditional fixed blade front sight and top-strap groove rear sight.
