The frame-mounted decocker is a first for any 92-series pistol, allowing immediate return to a consistent Vertec grip while keeping controls intuitive and ambidextrous. Beretta’s twin-sear decocking system drops the hammer to a half-cock notch, shortening the initial double-action pull without compromising safety.
An X-treme S DLC-coated trigger group and skeletonized hammer provide a crisp, repeatable break in single-action and a smoother double-action stroke. The extended magazine release speeds reloads without altering grip position.
The optic-ready slide ships with a cover plate and fiber-optic front/serrated black rear sights, letting the shooter choose between fast iron sights or direct-mounted red-dot optics. Front cocking serrations and a black nitride finish support positive manipulation and corrosion resistance.
A 7075-T6 aluminum alloy frame keeps weight manageable, while the full-size Vertec grip and textured polymer panels deliver a secure, straight-back hold. An integral Picatinny rail accepts lights and accessories; a Streamlight TLR-1s comes preinstalled so the pistol is ready for low-light use from day one.
