Winchester Model 94 Ranger Angle-Eject .30-30 Lever-Action Rifle, 20" Barrel, 1989 Production
Built in 1989 at Winchester’s New Haven factory, this Model 94 Ranger Angle-Eject pairs the timeless 20-inch carbine profile with a receiver cut for convenient, side-ejecting brass clearance. The Ranger line was Winchester’s late-1980s value variant, using birch hardwood furniture and a plain yet durable blued finish while retaining the proven Model 94 action. With its full-length six-round magazine and iron sights, this rifle delivers classic .30-30 performance in a lighter, no-frills package collectors and hunters appreciate.

What’s Included
- Winchester Model 94 Ranger Angle-Eject .30-30 lever-action rifle
The Ranger Angle-Eject design directs spent cases to the right side, allowing safe, unobstructed scope mounting—something traditional top-eject Model 94s cannot offer. This feature expanded the carbine’s versatility without changing its familiar handling.
Winchester fitted this carbine with a 20-inch blued steel barrel and a full-length tubular magazine that feeds six rounds of .30-30 Winchester. The 1:12 right-hand twist stabilizes the common 150–170 grain loads favored for deer hunting.
The birch hardwood stock is straight-gripped and un-checkered, finished in a light blond tone that contrasts nicely with the deep bluing of the barrel and receiver. Despite being the economy model, the Ranger keeps the solid steel frame and smooth lever throw that define the Model 94 lineage.
Safety features are the traditional rebounding hammer and half-cock notch—there is no cross-bolt or tang safety on this 1989 rifle. Iron sights consist of a ramped post front and a semi-buckhorn rear, offering a clear sight picture for woods ranges out of the box.
