Walther designed the PPQ 45 M2 to maintain a familiar PPQ grip profile while chambering the larger .45 ACP round. The result is a full-size sidearm with 12+1 capacity that still feels trim in hand.
This pistol has been upgraded with an Apex Tactical flat-face trigger shoe. Combined with Walther’s Quick Defense trigger system, it shortens reset and provides a straight-back press that many shooters prefer for rapid follow-up shots.
The 5-inch barrel is extended and factory threaded .578-28 RH, allowing direct attachment of popular .45-caliber suppressors or compensators. Polygonal rifling aids accuracy and eases cleaning.
The matte-black slide offers front and rear cocking serrations, white 3-dot iron sights with a drift-adjustable rear, and clear German proof, Walther crest, and U.S. import marks. A reversible push-button magazine release, interchangeable backstraps, and an integral Picatinny rail round out a feature set that earned the PPQ 45 both the 2017 NRA Golden Bullseye and Guns & Ammo Handgun of the Year awards.
