The installed LimbSaver rubber pad stretches length of pull to 13.5 inches and noticeably softens felt recoil.
The 22-inch carbon-steel barrel is button-rifled, light-tapered, and finished in matte blue to reduce glare. A recessed crown protects the rifling, and the “BX” barrel date code indicates January 2002 production, consistent with rifles assembled and shipped in 2003. The bore is bright with sharp lands, ready for precise bullet placement.
Up front, a ramped front sight is factory-installed, while rear sight holes are present for those preferring irons. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and the included Leupold rings and base make mounting a scope straightforward.
