Product Description

Remington Model 700 ADL Synthetic .308 Win Bolt-Action Rifle, 22-Inch Barrel with Leupold Rings

This Model 700 ADL Synthetic pairs Remington’s proven bolt action with a lightweight matte-black stock and a 22-inch carbon-steel barrel. Chambered in .308 Winchester and produced in 2003, it features the company’s celebrated “Three Rings of Steel” lock-up, a blind four-round magazine, and factory drilled-and-tapped receiver holes ready for optics. An aftermarket LimbSaver recoil pad further improves shootability without altering the rifle’s clean lines.

    Condition

Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.

Bore Condition: Excellent – Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.

Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling – Sharp lands and grooves.

Specific Condition Notes: The barrel shows a few shallow scratches and the stock has mild scuffs that do not affect performance.

    What’s Included

    • Leupold 1-inch scope rings and one-piece mount (installed)

Remington’s ADL Synthetic line was designed for hunters wanting Model 700 accuracy without extra weight. The injection-molded stock keeps the rifle light and weather-resistant, while molded checkering and sling-swivel studs add practical field features. The installed LimbSaver rubber pad stretches length of pull to 13.5 inches and noticeably softens felt recoil.

The 22-inch carbon-steel barrel is button-rifled, light-tapered, and finished in matte blue to reduce glare. A recessed crown protects the rifling, and the “BX” barrel date code indicates January 2002 production, consistent with rifles assembled and shipped in 2003. The bore is bright with sharp lands, ready for precise bullet placement.

Up front, a ramped front sight is factory-installed, while rear sight holes are present for those preferring irons. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and the included Leupold rings and base make mounting a scope straightforward. Inside, the blind magazine holds four rounds of .308 Win, feeding smoothly through the time-tested push-feed bolt.

Remington’s “Three Rings of Steel” system—comprising the bolt head, barrel shank, and receiver—surrounds the cartridge head with steel for added strength and safety. Combined with the rifle’s crisp single-stage trigger, these features underscore why the Model 700 remains a benchmark in bolt-action reliability.
