Designed as the predecessor to Bersa’s current TPR line, the Thunder 40 Pro retains the rugged, link-free SIG-type locked-breech system that keeps recoil manageable with .40 S&W ammunition.
The 4.25-inch hammer-forged barrel includes an integral feed ramp for smooth chambering, while the lightweight 7075-T6 alloy frame keeps overall weight down without sacrificing strength.
Shooters benefit from fully ambidextrous controls: a bilateral magazine release, manual safety/decocker, and the keyed Integral Locking System for secure storage. A skeletonized external hammer, over-travel stop screw, and curved serrated trigger face round out the DA/SA fire-control system.
The matte black slide carries rear cocking serrations and a loaded-chamber indicator for quick status checks. Fixed three-dot sights—the rear unit drift-adjustable—provide a familiar sight picture.
An integral MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail allows easy attachment of lights or lasers, making this full-size pistol adaptable to home-defense or range roles.
