Built around a 6061-T6 aluminum receiver, the T/CR22 uses a simple blowback action that accepts standard Ruger 10/22 magazines and many aftermarket parts. The integral 13-slot Picatinny rail lets you mount optics easily; here, a Vortex SPARC AR red-dot is already installed for fast target acquisition.
The 17-inch carbon-steel barrel is button-rifled with a 1:15 RH twist for reliable rimfire accuracy. Its 1/2×28 TPI threads arrive with a thread protector, allowing quick attachment of rimfire suppressors or other muzzle devices.
Magpul’s Hunter X-22 stock provides a rigid polymer chassis with M-Lok slots on the forend, a rear QD sling cup, and textured grip panels. Included spacer shims let you fine-tune the 13.75-inch length of pull to fit different shooters.
A factory last-round bolt-hold-open feature speeds reloads, while fiber-optic iron sights—green front post and fully adjustable rear aperture—keep the rifle ready even if the optic is removed.
