Ruger LCP Gen 1 .380 ACP Micro-Compact Semi-Auto Pistol | 2012 Production, 7+1 Capacity
Built in 2012, this original-generation Ruger LCP offers the light 9.4-ounce carry weight and slim profile that made the model a benchmark for deep-concealment pistols. The pistol includes the factory post-recall hammer upgrade, preserving Gen 1 authenticity while adding the refined mechanism Ruger introduced after early production. Chambered in .380 ACP with a 2.75-inch barrel, it delivers locked-breech reliability in a package barely over five inches long.

At 0.82 inches wide, the glass-filled nylon frame keeps the LCP exceptionally slim for ankle, pocket, or appendix carry. Integral molded checkering supplies a sure grip without adding bulk.
The alloy-steel slide wears a durable black-oxide finish and features six rear serrations for easy racking. Fixed integral sights keep the profile snag-free while remaining usable for short-range alignment.
This Gen 1 pistol retains the original internal-hammer, double-action-only trigger system. The post-recall hammer modification, included on this example, provides Ruger’s updated safety geometry without altering the classic controls.
The locked-breech, short-recoil operating system helps tame .380 ACP recoil in a micro-sized package. With five total magazines—two 7-round and three 6-round—you have immediate flexibility for carry, training, and spare-mag setups.
