The FNS-9 Longslide brings competition-length performance to FN’s proven striker-fired platform. A 5-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel, extended sight radius, and fully ambidextrous controls set this full-size 9mm apart. Produced from 2013 to 2020 and now discontinued, this example remains in excellent condition and comes complete with three 17-round magazines and the original factory case.

The Longslide variant extends the stainless steel barrel to 5 inches, giving a 6.4-inch sight radius for quicker follow-up shots and improved accuracy potential. The barrel is cold-hammer-forged with a 1:10 RH twist and wears a black PVD/nitride slide finish for enhanced corrosion resistance.
This configuration omits the manual safety while retaining a consistent 6-lb striker-fired trigger with a short reset. Fully ambidextrous slide stop and magazine release controls accommodate right- and left-handed shooters without modification.
The glass-fiber-reinforced polymer frame keeps weight down and integrates a four-slot MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail for lights or lasers. Fixed three-dot sights provide a clear sight picture, and front and rear cocking serrations assist with press checks and slide manipulation.
Discontinued in 2020, the FNS-9 Longslide is no longer in production, adding collectability to its practical performance features. This specimen’s minimal use and complete factory package make it an appealing choice for shooters and FN enthusiasts alike.
