The Echelon 4.5F Comp brings Springfield Armory’s newest duty-size 9mm to capacity-restricted states while adding factory compensation and full modularity. A removable Central Operating Group, integral single-port compensator, and direct-mount Variable Interface System optics cut give this pistol performance features rarely found together in one package.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good – light, superficial handling marks with minimal visible wear.
Bore Condition: Excellent – clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent – sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: The slide and frame show a few small scratches and blemishes. Minor carbon buildup is present on the compensator. The bore remains bright and shiny.

The modular Central Operating Group serves as the serialized fire-control unit, allowing the user to swap grip modules or sizes without paperwork. This design also simplifies deep cleaning and maintenance.
An integral single-port compensator, introduced in September 2024, is machined directly into the Melonite-finished slide. It vents gas upward to reduce muzzle rise while keeping overall length duty-friendly.
The Variable Interface System (VIS) optic cut accepts more than 30 popular red-dot footprints without adapter plates. Forward and rear cocking serrations provide solid purchase for slide manipulation, even with an optic installed.
Fully ambidextrous controls include the slide stop and reversible magazine release; the installed Tyrant CNC release offers an extended, textured surface for quicker reloads. The after-market NDZ flared magwell further smooths magazine insertion.
Factory tritium/luminescent night sights—a yellow front dot and white-outline tactical rack rear—deliver a crisp sight picture in any lighting. A polymer frame with integral accessory rail and stippled grip module rounds out this full-size defensive platform.
