This KP-9 is built on a stamped-steel AK receiver fitted with a 5.5 mm rear hinge block. The hinged top cover locks solidly and carries a 12-slot Picatinny rail, giving you a stable mounting point for optics without additional hardware.
The 9.25-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel is threaded 1/2-28 RH from the factory, ready for muzzle devices or a suppressor. Straight blowback operation keeps the manual of arms simple while maintaining compatibility with standard 9mm ammunition.
Handling is enhanced by the installed MI Defense ergonomic polymer grip and a factory folding skeleton brace with Velcro strap. The brace folds to the right side for compact storage while leaving the controls accessible.
A ribbed polymer handguard offers a familiar AK feel, and protected iron sights—front post and adjustable rear leaf—deliver reliable point-of-aim reference out of the box. Three 30-round magazines ensure you have plenty of capacity for range sessions or defensive roles.
