The OSP (Optical Sight Pistol) slide is milled at the factory, allowing direct mounting of most popular red-dot footprints without additional machining. Forward and rear cocking serrations give solid purchase when manipulating the slide.
A 3.8 inch hammer-forged, match-grade barrel treated with Melonite provides corrosion resistance and consistent accuracy. Chambered in .45 ACP, the compact frame still accepts 9-round magazines, giving a 9+1 capacity in a carry-friendly size.
Springfield’s META (Match Enhanced Trigger Assembly) flat-faced trigger breaks at roughly 5 pounds and shortens both take-up and reset. The integral grip safety and trigger safety work in tandem with the striker-fired action for passive security without extra levers.
Fully ambidextrous slide-stop and magazine-release controls, along with an accessory rail molded into the polymer frame, make the pistol adaptable to varied missions and shooter preferences. The red fiber-optic front sight and Tactical Rack U-Dot rear sight offer a bright, intuitive sight picture if no optic is installed.
