The pistol retains the robust carbon-steel construction and powerful 7.62×25mm chambering of the original Soviet TT-33 while adding a U.S.-required frame-mounted thumb safety and a thread-on three-slot compensator that tames muzzle rise. Its blued finish, star-emblem hardwood grips, and arrow-in-triangle Cugir mark with “BR” prefix make it an appealing piece for shooters and surplus enthusiasts alike.

This TTC remains true to its 1952 roots, featuring the narrow vertical rear cocking serrations and fixed iron sights typical of early Romanian production.
