This MPR (Multi-Purpose Rifle) variant uses a nitrided 4140 alloy steel barrel threaded 1/2-28 for muzzle devices or suppressor use. The 15" Ruger free-float aluminum handguard offers full-length M-LOK slots and a continuous top rail for optics and accessories.
The factory Elite 452 two-stage trigger breaks at a consistent ~4.5 lb, giving shooters a clean first stage take-up followed by a crisp second-stage let-off—ideal for both precision and practical shooting.
A six-position Magpul MOE stock and matching MOE grip provide adjustable length of pull and a familiar ergonomic interface, while the rifle’s matte black hard-coat anodized finish protects the receivers against wear.
Manufactured in Mayodan, North Carolina, with serial prefix 857-, this rifle reflects Ruger’s post-2017 MPR production upgrades, including the rifle-length gas system that complements the 18" barrel for improved dwell time and softer recoil.
