The 2K11 is Kimber’s first production double-stack 1911, designated by the “S2K” serial prefix. Its stainless-steel slide wears a Coyote PVD finish and features chevron window cuts, front and rear serrations, and an RMR-footprint optics cut with an integral rear sight on the cover plate—no separate rear iron sight is provided.
A deep-fluted, ramped stainless bull barrel with a 1:10 5R twist pairs with a tool-less guide rod to simplify cleaning while maintaining match-grade accuracy. The extended Coyote-PVD magazine-well funnel speeds reloads and aligns smoothly with the double-stack magazines.
The DLC-coated stainless sub-frame is mated to a black hard-anodized aluminum grip module, keeping overall weight manageable without sacrificing rigidity. An accessory rail sits forward for lights or lasers, expanding defensive or competition setups.
Shooter-focused controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety, grip safety, and a skeletonized match trigger set at a crisp 3–4 lb pull. The bright TAG FiberLok dual-rod front sight provides a clear aiming point that stands out against most targets and lighting conditions.
