What’s Included
- F.lli Pietta 1858 Remington New Army Brass-Guard Sheriff .44 caliber revolver
The solid top-strap Remington pattern delivers a rigid frame that aids accuracy and allows the non-fluted six-shot cylinder to be removed without tools—convenient for cleaning or swapping in a cartridge conversion cylinder (not included).
A blued steel frame, barrel, and cylinder contrast with the polished brass guard and color-case-hardened hammer, giving the revolver authentic 19th-century aesthetics while resisting wear.
The 5.5-inch octagonal barrel keeps overall length manageable while still providing a full sight radius via the fixed blade front post and rear notch milled into the top strap.
Chambered for .44 caliber black powder, it performs best with a .454 round ball or conical, making it a popular choice for cowboy-action shooting under SASS rules.
CIP proof marks, the Gardone proof-house logo, and dual Italian date codes (CL and CH) authenticate its origin and production timeline.
