Built in 1971, this K-frame Model 19-3 represents the classic “Combat Magnum” concept that Smith & Wesson developed with Border Patrol legend Bill Jordan. It retains the desirable pinned barrel and recessed cylinder construction that ended in 1981, and carries matching serial numbers on the frame, crane, and yoke. An aftermarket set of black synthetic wrap-around grips adds a secure, modern feel while preserving the revolver’s duty-ready profile.
