The LWRC SMG-45 pairs a robust .45 ACP chambering with a proprietary short-recoil/delayed-blowback system that tames recoil and keeps the platform compact. Built on a hard-coat anodized 7075-T6 aluminum receiver, this example ships in as-new condition and includes a factory-installed side-folding brace, two 25-round magazines, and LWRC/Magpul MBUS Pro flip-up sights. Its cold-hammer-forged, 8.5-inch chrome-moly barrel is threaded .578-28 RH for easy suppressor or muzzle device attachment—making this modern PCC-style pistol ready for range time or duty use right out of the box.

This SMG-45 uses LWRC’s proprietary short-recoil/delayed-blowback mechanism, reducing felt recoil compared with straight-blowback pistol-caliber carbines. The result is faster follow-up shots without adding unnecessary weight.
The 8.5-inch cold-hammer-forged chrome-moly barrel has a .578-28 RH thread pattern, giving buyers immediate suppressor compatibility. A 1:16 twist rate optimizes performance with common .45 ACP bullet weights.
Fully ambidextrous controls—safety selector, paddle-style magazine release, and bolt catch—let right- and left-handed shooters operate the pistol without adaptation. The reversible, non-reciprocating folding charging handle offers additional setup flexibility.
The brace folds to the right on a 1913 rail interface, trimming overall length to just 15.25 inches when folded and making the pistol easy to store or transport. Extended, the brace locks solidly for stable, shouldered shooting.
Premium nickel-boron and nitride surface treatments on the internals fight corrosion and simplify maintenance, while the free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard provides plenty of real estate for lights, lasers, or foregrips.
