Molot VEPR-12 Pre-Ban 12 Gauge Semi-Automatic Shotgun, Folding Stock, 19" Chrome-Lined Barrel
Imported before the 2017 sanctions that halted VEPR shipments, this Molot VEPR-12 folding-stock shotgun combines the rugged RPK heritage with modern competition-oriented features. Built on a reinforced 1.5 mm stamped steel receiver and fitted with a chrome-lined, cold-hammer-forged barrel, it is a scarce, highly regarded option for collectors and shooters who value reliability, modularity, and limited U.S. availability.

What’s Included
- 1 factory Molot VEPR-12 5-round polymer box magazine
The VEPR-12 is engineered around the long-stroke gas-piston system of the RPK, giving it stout reliability with 12 gauge loads. The strengthened receiver and heavy trunnion handle high-volume fire while keeping recoil manageable.
A hinged dust cover with a full-length Picatinny rail maintains zero and simplifies optic mounting. Combined with the ambidextrous paddle magazine release and enlarged competition magazine well, the design speeds reloads and accessory setup.
The left-side folding tubular stock locks solidly in place yet allows the shotgun to fire while folded, making storage and transport more convenient without sacrificing readiness.
Chrome-lined, cold-hammer-forged, and threaded at M22×0.75 RH, the 19" barrel is ready for muzzle devices and is built for long service life. Standard drift-adjustable front and RPK tangent rear sights provide reliable iron-sight alignment out of the box.
Because U.S. importation ended in 2017, authentic Russian-made VEPR-12 shotguns are increasingly scarce, making this pre-ban example an attractive acquisition for both shooters and collectors.
