Introduced at the 2024 SHOT Show, the Tisas 1911 Carry B9R packs forged-steel strength, a 17-round double-stack magazine, and an optics-ready slide into a compact Commander-length 9mm platform. Tenifer QPQ nitriding protects every steel component, while the 4.25 inch bull barrel and fiber-optic sights provide fast, repeatable accuracy. It is a budget-friendly way to step into the modernized 2011-style 1911 without sacrificing materials or fit.

The forged 4140 steel slide and frame are treated with Tenifer QPQ nitriding for deep corrosion resistance and a durable matte-black finish. Forward and rear cocking serrations give a positive grip even with gloves.
An RMSc / Holosun K footprint cut is machined into the slide, letting you mount a micro red-dot without additional plates. Until then, a green fiber-optic front and black serrated rear sight deliver a clear, fast sight picture.
The Commander-length 4.25 inch bull barrel is button-rifled, target-crowned, and fully supported for reliable 9 mm feeding. Combined with the double-stack grip, the pistol offers 17 + 1 capacity in a package that still conceals easily.
Ergonomics are enhanced by 25 LPI frontstrap and mainspring-housing checkering, an integrated polymer magwell with aggressive stippling, and textured polymer grip panels. A skeletonized three-hole trigger, rounded hammer, Series-70 firing system, and extended thumb and grip safeties keep controls crisp and familiar to 1911 shooters.
