What’s Included
• Ruger 1" steel scope rings (factory, installed)
This rifle retains the original two-position tang safety, prized for its intuitive operation and now discontinued on later M77 variants. The Mauser-inspired external claw extractor offers controlled-round feed, contributing to reliable cycling with the hard-hitting .300 Win. Mag. cartridge.
The 24-inch sporter-contour barrel is free-floating and finished in deep bluing. Ruger’s integral scope bases are machined directly into the receiver, delivering a solid optics platform without added weight. Factory 1" rings are already installed for quick scope mounting.
Ruger’s angled front action screw bedding system enhances stability by drawing the action securely into the walnut stock. Wrap-around checkering on the pistol-grip stock, a red Ruger recoil pad, and a gold-tone Ruger phoenix grip-cap medallion complete the classic look while providing functional grip and recoil control.
The hinged steel floorplate encloses a three-round internal box magazine, allowing convenient unloading at day’s end. Sling swivel studs are installed at the factory for easy field carry.
