Ruger builds this revolver on a rugged alloy-steel frame finished in a deep, polished blue. The 6.5-inch barrel uses an 8-groove, 1:16" right-hand twist for excellent accuracy with both jacketed and lead bullets.
Fully adjustable iron sights include a serrated ramp front blade and a square-notch rear, letting the shooter dial in precise elevation and windage for each caliber. The spurred hammer and single-action trigger offer the crisp break Blackhawk shooters expect.
Safety is handled by Ruger’s transfer-bar mechanism and loading-gate interlock, allowing safe six-round carry. Coil-spring internals contribute to the strong lock-up and long service life these revolvers are known for.
