SIG Sauer CROSS TRAX .308 Win Bolt-Action Rifle | 16-Inch Stainless Barrel, 6.1 lb, Side-Folding Stock
The CROSS TRAX is the lightest factory variant of SIG Sauer’s precision hunting rifle line, tipping the scales at just 6.1 lb empty. Built around a one-piece 7075-T6 aluminum receiver with an integral 20 MOA Picatinny rail, this compact .308 Win platform combines mountain-rifle weight with match-grade features, including a two-stage adjustable trigger and a 60° three-lug bolt for fast cycling. A 16-inch stainless barrel threaded 5/8-24 comes capped with a thread protector, while the side-folding stock shrinks overall length to 26 inches for easy transport.

The TRAX submodel trims weight without sacrificing rigidity. Its skeletonized 11.5-inch M-LOK handguard and minimalist side-folding aluminum stock keep the rifle agile on the hunt while preserving repeatable accuracy from field positions.
A two-stage, externally adjustable match trigger lets the shooter set pull weight between 2.5 and 4 lb, ensuring a crisp break tailored to preference. Ambidextrous magazine release and thumb safety controls support left- or right-handed operation.
The cold-hammer-forged 16-inch stainless barrel wears 5/8-24 threads, ready for brakes or suppressors. A 1:10 RH twist stabilizes the full range of .308 Win bullet weights, and the supplied thread protector preserves the crown when a muzzle device is not installed.
The rifle accepts standard short-action AICS magazines, expanding capacity and accessory options. Combined with the integral 20 MOA rail, optics mounting and long-range dialing are straightforward.
Proudly made in the USA, the CROSS TRAX brings together lightweight portability, modern ergonomics, and field-ready precision at a factory MSRP of $1,499.99.
