The rifle uses a short-stroke gas piston with an internal return spring, eliminating the need for a buffer assembly inside the stock. This allows the upgraded Magpul MOE stock to collapse through six positions while keeping the action smooth and reliable.
A non-reciprocating charging handle can be swapped to either side, and the magazine release, bolt catch, and safety/selector are mirrored for left- or right-handed shooters. The modular aluminum M-LOK handguard and full-length top rail simplify mounting optics, lights, or lasers.
The 16.5-inch cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel is threaded and works with the three-position adjustable gas regulator to run cleanly with or without a suppressor. Quick-change barrel architecture lets armorers convert calibers or lengths without specialized tools.
