The EGX500’s bullpup architecture positions the action behind the trigger, yielding a 30" overall length without sacrificing ballistic performance from its 18.5" chrome-lined, threaded barrel. The 3" chamber pairs with the included CYL choke for reliable use with 3" shells, and the shotgun accepts any Benelli-Mobil pattern tubes for tailored spread control.
A push/pull adjustable gas valve lets you tune the gas-operated system for light target loads or heavy magnum rounds. Combined with the gold-anodized bolt carrier and trigger, the internal parts are built for smooth cycling and long service life.
The shooter-oriented control layout is fully ambidextrous: charging handle, safety selector, paddle magazine release, and even the two-position gas selector are mirrored for left- or right-handed operation. A polymer handguard with M-LOK slots and an integrated angled forward grip supports accessories without added bulk.
Structurally, the shotgun mates a 7075-T6 aluminum upper receiver to a reinforced-polymer lower, keeping weight balanced toward the shoulder. Flip-up polymer sights ride a full-length Picatinny rail, ready for optics, while the rubber-capped buttstock and integral cheek rest stabilize rapid follow-up shots.
