The SUB-2000’s unique barrel-trunnion hinge lets the carbine fold to roughly 16 inches overall, making it easy to stash in a backpack, vehicle compartment, or range bag. Deployment is quick—simply unfold, lock, and you’re ready to shoot.
This example uses Kel-Tec’s Multi-Mag system and is currently set up for Smith & Wesson M&P magazines. Three additional magazine catch adapters are included, allowing the user to switch to Sig P320, Beretta 92, or CZ 75 pattern mags without tools.
The 16.25-inch carbon-steel barrel is threaded 1/2-28 TPI and paired with a 1:10 twist, delivering full carbine velocity from 9mm loads and supporting common muzzle devices or suppressors. Iron sights consist of an AR-style adjustable front post and a windage-adjustable polymer peep rear for fast, familiar sight alignment.
A polymer handguard with M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions plus full-length Picatinny rails at 12 and 6 o’clock offers ample mounting real estate for lights, grips, and optics. The three-position telescoping stock adjusts length of pull to 12.5, 13, or 13.5 inches, accommodating a wide range of shooters.
