Zastava Mark X Mini .223 Rem Bolt-Action Rifle | 20-Inch Barrel, Mauser-Style Action, Bushnell ScopeChief VI Included
This Yugoslav-made Zastava Mark X Mini pairs a lightweight, short Mauser-pattern action with a 20-inch barrel chambered in .223 Remington. Imported by Interarms during the late 1980s–1990s, it carries matching receiver and bolt serials and the correct Yugoslav proof crest. A factory Monte Carlo walnut stock, drilled-and-tapped receiver, and an installed Bushnell ScopeChief VI variable-power optic complete a compact varmint and field rifle package.

The Mark X Mini action is a true scaled-down Mauser with a full-length claw extractor and three locking lugs, giving controlled-round-feed reliability in a lighter, handier footprint. Chambered in .223 Rem, the rifle offers 5 + 1 capacity through a hinged-floorplate internal magazine.
The 20-inch blued barrel features a 1:12 RH twist suited to common varmint-weight projectiles. Open sights consist of a hoodless ramp front with a silver blade and an adjustable folding-leaf rear, while the receiver is drilled and tapped for optics.
Zastava finished the rifle with a right-hand Monte Carlo walnut stock that wears pressed diamond checkering, sling-swivel studs, and a steel butt-plate bearing the “CZ” logo. Length of pull measures 14.25 inches.
Proof and import markings include the Yugoslav/Serbian crest, Cyrillic “ББ” acceptance stamps, and “Alexandria Virginia – INTERARMS – Manchester England” on the barrel—evidence of its early, pre-embargo import status. The low serial (3354) further underscores its early production.
A Bushnell ScopeChief VI optic is already mounted on a two-piece base, giving the buyer a ready-to-sight package.
