The SXP action uses dual action bars and a four-lug rotary bolt, reinforced by an inertia-assisted design that helps the shooter cycle shells quickly while keeping the stroke smooth and consistent.
Its 28-inch back-bored barrel is hard-chrome plated inside and out, resisting corrosion and fouling while promoting tighter, more even patterns. The threaded Invector-Plus muzzle lets you tailor constriction; IC, Modified, and Full tubes are included for versatile transitions between small-game, upland, and waterfowl loads.
A lightweight aluminum-alloy receiver is drilled and tapped, ready for optics or accessory rails. The matte black finish throughout reduces glare, and the brass-bead front sight offers a crisp reference in bright or low light.
The black composite stock features textured grip panels, factory sling-swivel studs, and a soft rubber recoil pad. A 13.75-inch length of pull balances fast mounting with comfortable reach, while the overall 48.5-inch length keeps the gun lively yet stable.
