The 2025-production Ruger Precision Rimfire brings precision-rifle ergonomics to economical .22 LR training. An 18-inch cold-hammer-forged bull barrel, fully adjustable chassis-style stock, and 30-MOA canted top rail give this rimfire the feel and features of Ruger’s centerfire Precision series while accepting standard 10/22 magazines.

Ruger machines the 18-inch 4140 steel barrel with a heavy bull profile for consistent harmonics, then threads the muzzle 1/2-28 TPI for easy suppressor or brake installation. The cold-hammer-forged bore features a 1:16 RH twist for reliable performance with a wide range of .22 LR loads.
The glass-filled nylon receiver and one-piece chassis interface with a fully adjustable polymer stock. Length of pull and cheek-height adjustments require no tools, and QD cups plus a bottom accessory rail support multiple sling and monopod options.
A 15-inch free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard offers ample space for bipods or accessories while keeping weight forward for steady positional shooting. Up top, Ruger machines a 30-MOA canted Picatinny rail into the receiver for extended elevation dialing at distance.
The Marksman Adjustable trigger breaks cleanly and can be tuned from the field using the supplied hex key stored in the bolt shroud. An oversize bolt knob with a 60-degree lift speeds cycling, and the 45-degree ambidextrous safety mimics AR controls for intuitive handling.
Ruger designed the Precision Rimfire to run any Ruger 10/22 magazine, making spare mags affordable and widely available. Two 10-round BX-1s ship with the rifle so you can head straight to the range.
