Walther introduced the PPQ 45 as its first production .45-caliber handgun, retaining the PPQ’s renowned trigger while scaling the frame for 12-round double-stack magazines. The Quick Defense trigger provides a short 0.1-inch reset and a consistent pull that aids fast follow-up shots.
This M2 Optics-Ready version leaves the factory with a milled slide, cover plate, and adapter so shooters can attach popular red-dot sights without gunsmithing. Fiber-optic sights remain in place for a clear co-witness reference.
The slide receives a Tenifer QPQ nitrocarburized finish, delivering deep corrosion resistance and a uniform matte black appearance. Matching serial numbers on barrel, slide, and frame confirm original factory fit.
Ergonomics are enhanced by interchangeable backstraps, a reversible push-button magazine release, and fully ambidextrous slide-stop levers, making the pistol adaptable to either hand. A three-slot MIL-STD-1913 rail accepts lights or lasers for duty or defensive roles.
A 4.25-inch chromoly steel barrel with polygonal rifling supports accuracy while easing maintenance. The barrel, slide, and frame all bear 2022 DE CIP N and Ulm antler proof marks, attesting to stringent German proof testing.
