This Modell Match 54 uses a single-shot bottom metal without a magazine cut-out, channeling all focus on precision shot placement. The receiver is drilled and tapped for target sight bases, allowing easy integration of modern or period-correct optics and diopter sights.
The 26-inch heavy profile barrel is complemented by a removable vented muzzle attachment featuring three rows of ports to help manage muzzle rise and maintain sight picture on follow-through.
A two-stage adjustable trigger lets the shooter fine-tune pull weight and sear engagement for a crisp break, while the wing-style tang safety offers intuitive operation between firing positions.
The walnut stock incorporates a Monte Carlo cheek piece, pistol grip, and an aluminum UIT accessory rail for sling or hand-stop placement. A rubber butt-plate provides additional shoulder comfort during extended string fire.
Proof markings include the eagle over N nitro proof and the Ulm antler, confirming West German proof-house certification. Matching serial number 65520 appears on both receiver and bolt body, supporting the rifle’s collectibility.
