This Gen 3 Palmetto State Armory PA-10 combines PSA’s slick-side Stealth upper and forged lower with a purpose-built Faxon 16 inch 1:3-twist barrel for the new 8.6 Blackout cartridge. The result is a direct-impingement AR-10 that stabilizes heavy subsonic .338-caliber projectiles, feeds from standard SR-25 magazines, and wears a striking hydro-dipped red/black M-LOK handguard. An all-Faxon nitride BCG, VOTATU flip-up sights, and adjustable six-position stock complete this modular, multi-brand build.

The heart of this rifle is Faxon’s 16" 8.6 BLK barrel, cut from 4150 CMV steel, nitrided for durability, and threaded 5/8-24 for muzzle devices. Its ultra-fast 1:3 twist rate is engineered to stabilize heavy, subsonic .338 projectiles for maximum energy on target.
A PSA Stealth slick-side upper receiver deletes the forward assist for reduced weight and cleaner lines. Both upper and lower receivers are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with hard-coat anodizing, ensuring robust strength while maintaining compatibility with AR-10/SR-25 accessories.
The 15" free-float octagonal M-LOK handguard is hydro-dipped in a red/black lightning pattern that sets this rifle apart visually while providing ample real estate for accessories. Full-length top rail continuity with the upper receiver offers plenty of mounting space for optics.
Faxon’s black-nitride AR-10 bolt-carrier group is tuned for .308/6.5 Creedmoor/8.6 BLK case heads, delivering reliable cycling. A six-position adjustable stock and A2 grip give the shooter a familiar control layout and a 14" length of pull.
Because 8.6 Blackout shares the 6.5 Creedmoor/ .308 case head, the rifle runs on readily available SR-25 pattern magazines—three of which are included—making caliber conversion straightforward for AR-10 owners.
