The FNX-45 Tactical is the civilian evolution of FN’s submission to the USSOCOM Joint Combat Pistol program. This full-size .45 ACP pistol pairs a cold-hammer-forged threaded barrel with an optics-ready slide and fully ambidextrous controls, giving shooters a factory-ready platform for suppressors and red-dot sights. With a 15+1 capacity and suppressor-height tritium night sights, it delivers modern capability in a proven DA/SA design.

Built around a 5.3-inch cold-hammer-forged stainless steel barrel, the FNX-45 Tactical comes threaded 0.578-28 RH from the factory. The pairing of a threaded muzzle and suppressor-height three-dot tritium night sights means the pistol is ready for a sound suppressor right out of the box.
The slide receives a durable black PVD finish and an optics-ready cut that accepts popular micro red dots using the included mounting plates. A loaded-chamber indicator window and forward cocking serrations enhance safety and handling.
Controls are fully ambidextrous. The magazine release, slide stop, and combined manual safety/decocker are mirrored on both sides, allowing left- or right-handed shooters to run the gun without compromise. An external stainless hammer and DA/SA trigger provide second-strike capability.
The high-capacity 15-round magazines deliver class-leading firepower in .45 ACP. Three magazines are included, along with interchangeable backstraps to fine-tune grip size. A molded accessory rail on the frame supports lights or lasers.
