Forged in-house receivers form a solid foundation for the AM-15 Utility. Both upper and lower are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a black hard-coat anodize for durability and corrosion resistance.
The 16" government-profile barrel is made from 4150 CMV steel, treated with a QPQ nitride finish for extended bore life, and cut with a versatile 1:8" right-hand twist that stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington bullet weights. Threads are 1/2-28 for easy muzzle-device installation.
A slim, 15" free-float M-LOK handguard keeps weight down while providing ample real estate for accessories. The continuous Picatinny top rail lines up with the receiver for seamless optic mounting, and the free-float design helps preserve barrel harmonics for repeatable accuracy.
Controls follow the familiar AR-15 layout: standard charging handle, single-stage trigger, ambidextrous-ready manual safety selector, and a mil-spec magazine release. A six-position collapsible stock and A2-style polymer grip allow quick length-of-pull adjustments and a secure hold.
Three 30-round magazines—two Magpul PMAGs and one polymer STANAG—come with the rifle, so you can head to the range immediately. The factory box keeps everything protected for transport or storage.
