IWI Tavor X95 XFD16 5.56 NATO Bullpup Semi-Auto Rifle – Flat Dark Earth, California-Compliant, 31" OAL
The IWI Tavor X95 XFD16 delivers the proven Israeli bullpup platform in a feature-rich, California-compliant package. A pinned and welded muzzle brake brings the overall length to 31 inches while preserving a 16.5-inch chrome-lined rifled section. Fully ambidextrous controls, integrated flip-up sights, and a long-stroke gas-piston system make this modern rifle a practical choice for enthusiasts who need compact handling without compromising reliability.
This Flat Dark Earth variant uses a reinforced polymer chassis, cold-hammer-forged CrMoV barrel, and reversible ejection port for true left- or right-hand adaptability. Factory compliance features include a 10-round magazine and featureless grip fin, so it ships ready for California ownership.

Built around a long-stroke gas-piston system derived from the Galil lineage, the X95 runs clean and cool even during extended strings of fire. The piston assembly and chrome-lined bore enhance durability, while the 1:7 right-hand twist stabilizes the full range of 55- to 77-grain 5.56 NATO loads.
Controls are fully ambidextrous—magazine release, safety, and charging handle all mirror for left- or right-hand use. The charging handle can be swapped across the receiver without tools, and the ejection port converts with a user-supplied bolt and cover kit.
An uninterrupted top Picatinny rail integrates flip-up iron sights that fold flush when optics are installed. The vented polymer fore-end adds M-LOK slots for accessories while keeping weight forward-balanced and heat build-up minimal.
The modular pistol-grip block accepts caliber-conversion kits (sold separately) for 9 mm or .300 BLK, expanding the rifle’s versatility. Despite its rifle-length 16.5-inch barrel, the bullpup layout retains an overall length of only 31 inches, giving carbine-like maneuverability in confined spaces.
