Remington Model 1100 Competition Synthetic 12 Gauge Semi-Auto Shotgun, 30" Pro-Bore Barrel, Nickel-Teflon Finish
The Model 1100 Competition Synthetic is Remington’s purpose-built target shotgun. This example pairs a 30-inch Pro-Bore barrel with a corrosion-resistant Nickel-Teflon coated receiver and internals. Its carbon-fiber-dipped synthetic stock offers an adjustable comb, multi-axis butt-plate, and Kick-Eez recoil pad, giving shooters a custom fit. A tuned gas system is optimized to cycle light target loads, and the 10 mm vent rib is clearly marked “Target Loads Only.” Overall, it delivers competition-focused features in a durable, easy-maintained package.
Condition
Overall Condition: Excellent condition, showing only faint signs of any prior use or handling.
Bore Condition: Excellent – clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Specific Condition Notes: The shotgun shows very minimal signs of wear and has been extremely well maintained. The bolt does not hold open after the last round; this may have been intentionally modified for competition use or may require attention.
What’s Included
- Remington factory cardboard box with model label
- Pro-Bore stainless choke tube set (SK, IC, LM, M, F) in clear plastic storage tube
The 30-inch Pro-Bore barrel is over-bored and fitted with lengthened forcing cones, reducing felt recoil and tightening patterns. It is threaded for Remington’s Pro-Bore chokes, and five stainless tubes are included for precise pattern control.
Receiver, barrel extension, and key internals wear a matte Nickel-Teflon finish that resists corrosion and lowers friction, keeping the action smooth during long training sessions.
The synthetic stock and fore-end are finished in a carbon-fiber dip. An adjustable Monte Carlo comb, multi-axis butt-plate, 14-inch length of pull, and Kick-Eez pad let shooters fine-tune fit, maintain a consistent cheek weld, and tame recoil.
Gas operation is tuned for light 2 ¾-inch target loads, and the four-round magazine meets most clay-target rule sets. “Competition” script on the receiver and the CC serial prefix confirm its post-2011 production run.
A 10 mm ventilated rib with a single front bead aligns quickly on clays, and the barrel is clearly stamped “Target Loads Only” to reinforce its competition pedigree.
