Remington Model 870 SPS-T Magnum 12 Gauge Pump Shotgun, 21" Vent-Rib Camo Barrel, 1995 Production
The Model 870 Special Purpose Synthetic Turkey (SPS-T) brings Remington’s proven pump-action design to dedicated turkey hunters. Built on a magnum receiver from 1995, this full-size shotgun wears factory Mossy Oak camouflage over its steel barrel, receiver, and synthetic furniture. A 21-inch vent-rib barrel and Extra-Full Turkey choke give tight, consistent patterns, while the magnum chamber handles both 2 ¾-inch and 3-inch shells for flexible load selection.

Designed specifically for turkey woods, the SPS-T combines a compact 21-inch barrel with a vent rib that supports a clear sight plane and quick target acquisition. The barrel is Rem Choke compatible, and the included Extra-Full Turkey tube is tuned for dense patterns at typical calling distances.
The magnum receiver’s twin action bars deliver smooth, reliable cycling. A 4+1 tubular magazine provides ample on-board capacity, and a cross-bolt safety offers familiar, easily reached control.
The synthetic stock and fore-end are molded in Mossy Oak camouflage to blend with spring foliage. Molded checkering, sling swivel studs, and a soft rubber recoil pad round out a stock built for steady shouldering and all-day comfort.
At 13.75 inches, the length of pull suits most shooters while keeping the overall package maneuverable in tight blinds. Manufactured in the USA in 1995, this early full-coverage hydro-dipped model carries Remington’s 25080 part number and remains a sought-after variant for collectors and hunters alike.
