Derived from the military-spec 590A1 line, this Shockwave carries a heavy-walled carbon-steel barrel and dual action bars for solid, repeatable cycling. The 14.5-inch cylinder-bore barrel and bird’s-head Raptor grip keep overall length above 26 inches, so the gun remains a Title I firearm—no NFA paperwork required.
The receiver is hard-anodized aluminum alloy, matte blued to match the barrel, and drilled and tapped at the factory. The installed 11-slot Picatinny rail takes full advantage of those mounting points, letting you add optics without gunsmithing.
Controls stay familiar and ambidextrous: Mossberg’s tang safety is accessible for right- or left-handed shooters, and the ribbed corncob forend includes a nylon strap for positive grip under recoil.
Chambered for 2 ¾- and 3-inch shells, the tubular magazine holds 5+1 rounds. The brass bead front sight offers a quick reference point for defensive distances, while the cylinder bore handles a wide range of buckshot or slug loads.
