At the core of the Echelon is the stainless COG chassis, which carries the serial number and allows the fire-control group to move between grip modules for effortless size or color changes. Bilateral slide-stop levers are integrated into the chassis, keeping controls low-profile yet fully ambidextrous.
The billet-machined steel slide features Springfield’s Variable Interface System (VIS) cut, accepting more than 30 popular reflex-optic footprints without adapter plates. Forward and rear serrations add positive purchase for press checks and manipulations.
A flat-faced trigger with an integral safety tab delivers a short, crisp break. The reversible magazine release, interchangeable backstraps, and supplied magwell funnel let shooters tailor ergonomics and reload speed.
The 4-inch hammer-forged barrel wears a Melonite finish and 1:10 RH twist for durability and accuracy. In 2025 the Echelon platform earned the National Tactical Officers Association MTR Gold ranking, underscoring its proven reliability in duty testing.
