Ruger’s cold-hammer-forged 20" medium-contour barrel is made from 4140 CMV steel and cut with 5-groove rifling at a 1:10" right-hand twist. It is threaded 5/8-24 and ships with a factory two-port Ruger radial muzzle brake to mitigate recoil.
A four-position adjustable gas block lets the user tune the rifle for suppressed or unsuppressed fire, different ammunition, or adverse conditions. The vented bolt-carrier/extension system further reduces felt recoil and directs gas away from the shooter.
The rifle includes Ruger’s Elite 452 two-stage trigger set at approximately 4.5 lb, providing a clean break for precise shooting. A 15" free-float aluminum handguard with M-LOK slots and a full-length Picatinny rail offers ample space for optics and accessories.
