Built around a hard-anodized aluminum receiver and dual steel action bars, the 590A1 is designed for smooth cycling and long-term reliability. The 20-inch heavy-profile barrel adds mass where it counts, helping manage heat during prolonged shooting while maintaining excellent balance.
The shotgun’s 8+1 magazine feeds both 2 3/4- and 3-inch shells, giving the shooter flexibility for buckshot, slugs, or less-lethal loads. A magazine clean-out cap simplifies maintenance, and the tang-mounted safety is easy to reach for right- or left-handed users.
An integral bayonet lug and sling loop on the magazine cap clamp underscore the model’s military lineage. The receiver comes drilled and tapped, ready for an optic or ghost-ring sight, while the plain bead front sight keeps the profile streamlined for close-quarters use.
The straight-comb synthetic stock offers a 14-inch length of pull and ends with a rubber recoil pad that tames 12-gauge kick. A ribbed synthetic fore-end provides a positive grip, even with gloves or wet hands.
