Glock G42 .380 ACP Micro Semi-Auto Pistol | U.S.-Made, 3.25" Barrel, 6+1 Capacity
The Glock G42 is the company’s smallest and lightest pistol, chambered in .380 ACP and built in Smyrna, Georgia for the U.S. market. This micro-frame striker-fired handgun combines Glock’s Safe-Action system with a locked-breech design that delivers reliable performance in an ultra-compact package. Matching serial numbers on the slide, barrel, and frame, plus factory proof marks, confirm its original configuration and collector appeal.

This G42 is a U.S.-produced variant, carrying the pentagon “P” and U.S. proof marks that distinguish domestic production models from their Austrian counterparts. The U.S. build also satisfies import restrictions while maintaining Glock’s exacting standards.
The 3.25-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel uses Glock’s hexagonal rifling and a nitride finish to resist wear and simplify cleaning. Combined with the nitrided slide, it offers impressive corrosion resistance despite its micro size.
Glock’s Safe-Action system delivers a consistent 5.5-lb trigger pull with built-in trigger safety tab. A locked-breech operating system—uncommon in many pocket .380s—keeps felt recoil manageable and ensures dependable feeding.
Fixed polymer sights feature a white-dot front and white “U” rear for quick alignment, while the reversible magazine catch supports either-handed operation. The RTF-textured polymer frame provides a secure grip without adding bulk.
