Built in 2017, this example features Ruger’s three-lug spiral-fluted bolt, a 20-MOA canted Picatinny receiver rail, and the externally adjustable Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger. Its ability to accept both AICS and SR-25 pattern magazines, along with a user-swappable barrel system, makes it a versatile platform for precision enthusiasts.

Ruger’s chrome-moly steel barrel uses 5R rifling and a 1:10" right-hand twist to stabilize a wide range of .308 loads. It comes threaded 5/8-24 and fitted with a factory muzzle brake, ready for a suppressor or other muzzle device.
The one-piece bolt rides smoothly thanks to its spiral flutes and oversized knob, while a billet aluminum bolt shroud includes integrated storage for small tools—ideal for on-the-go adjustments.
An ambidextrous safety lever, paddle-style magazine release, and multi-magazine latch that accepts both AICS and SR-25 pattern magazines add real-world flexibility. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger breaks cleanly and can be tuned from 2.25 to 5 pounds without removing the action from the chassis.
The aluminum alloy folding stock offers tool-less micrometer adjustments for length of pull, cheek height, and recoil pad position. Paired with a 15" free-float M-LOK handguard, it gives shooters ample space for optics, bipods, and accessories.
Finished in matte black Type III hard-coat anodizing, the Gen 2 chassis keeps weight manageable while delivering the rigidity needed for repeatable accuracy.
