The Deluxe Engraved SP101 was built for TALO Distributors as a limited offering, giving buyers factory scroll engraving normally reserved for custom-shop firearms. The engraving covers key surfaces yet leaves serial and model markings clear, preserving both function and legibility.
Every major component—frame, barrel, and five-shot cylinder—is machined from solid stainless steel, then finished in a uniform satin polish that resists holster wear and simplifies maintenance. The trigger guard engraving ties the look together while highlighting Ruger’s robust cast-frame design.
A modular grip frame accepts the factory-installed rubber grip with hardwood inserts, balancing recoil control and classic style. The exposed hammer enables both double-action and single-action fire, while Ruger’s transfer-bar safety prevents the hammer from contacting the firing pin unless the trigger is fully pressed.
