The Winchester Model 1300 Field is the last American-made iteration of Winchester’s storied pump-action line. Built in New Haven with the “Speed Pump” rotary-bolt action, this 12-gauge shotgun combines fast cycling with a lightweight alloy receiver and a versatile 28-inch vent-rib barrel. Chambered for both 2 3/4- and 3-inch shells and equipped with the WinChoke interchangeable choke system, it offers reliable performance for field shooting and clay work alike.

The 1300’s rotary “Speed Pump” bolt unlocks immediately after firing, allowing exceptionally quick follow-up shots without sacrificing strength. This design remains a hallmark of Winchester engineering.
An anodized aluminum alloy receiver keeps overall weight down while maintaining durability. The blued Winchester Proof Steel barrel is threaded for WinChoke tubes, and an IC tube is currently fitted for versatile field patterns.
The 28-inch barrel features a full-length vent rib topped with a single brass bead for a clear, glare-free sight picture. Chambering accommodates both 2 3/4- and 3-inch loads, broadening ammunition options for upland birds, small game, or informal clays.
The satin-finished hardwood stock provides a 14-inch length of pull and wears pressed checkering for a secure grip. A thin Winchester-logo hard plastic buttplate, secured by two screws, caps the stock, and the long beavertail fore-end gives ample control during rapid cycling.
Marked with an “L” serial prefix, this shotgun was produced at Winchester’s USRAC New Haven plant prior to its 2006 closure, making it part of the final American-made Winchester pump lineage before production moved overseas.
