What’s Included

- 2 × 10-round Kimber .22 LR magazines – one with the traditional hold-open follower, the other designed not to hold open on empty
- Kimber 1911 pistol safety & instruction manual
Designed as a dedicated rimfire trainer, the Rimfire Super mirrors the dimensions and controls of a standard Government-length 1911. Its single-action-only blowback system keeps the manual of arms familiar while cutting ammunition cost and recoil.
The two-tone finish pairs a matte black slide with a satin silver KimPro II frame. Both components are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, keeping overall weight down without sacrificing durability. Factory 30 lpi checkering on the front strap, mainspring housing, and under the trigger guard adds traction in any grip.
Accuracy is supported by a ramped, match-grade steel barrel with a 1:16 LH twist. A skeletonized match trigger, skeletonized rowel hammer, and beveled magazine well further reflect the Custom Shop’s performance focus.
Sighting is handled by a dovetailed Patridge front blade and a fully adjustable Kimber rear sight, delivering a 6.8-inch sight radius for precise shot placement. Ambidextrous thumb safeties and a grip safety provide familiar 1911 control for right- or left-handed users.
The sale includes two factory magazines: one locks the slide open after the last round, while the second is configured to close on empty—ideal for certain training drills. Together with the original case and manual, this package offers a complete, collector-worthy example of Kimber’s discontinued rimfire 1911.
