1969 Rizzini Abercrombie & Fitch Game Gun 12 Gauge SxS – 28" Barrels, 3" Chambers, Factory Engraved
This limited-production Rizzini Game Gun was built for Abercrombie & Fitch in 1969 and proofed in Gardone, Italy. It combines early 3" magnum chambers with a forged, color-case-hardened receiver that wears factory light border and rosette engraving. Matching serial numbers and a less common single mechanical trigger set this break-action apart for both collectors and hunters who value authenticity and practical field features.

What’s Included
- Rizzini Abercrombie & Fitch Game Gun side-by-side shotgun (serial 6030)
Built by Zoli & F.lli Rizzini for Abercrombie & Fitch, this Game Gun represents a short-run collaboration seldom seen on today’s market. The Roman-numeral date code XXV confirms 1969 manufacture, and Italian Gardone proof marks include the PSF magnum proof for 3" CAM.76 chambers—an advanced feature for its era.
The 28" blued steel barrels feature a matted rib, fixed Modified and Improved Modified chokes, and a single brass bead front sight. Despite its magnum capability, the gun maintains a balanced, upland-friendly profile.
A forged steel receiver wears a color-case-hardened finish and factory light border/rosette engraving. The single non-selective mechanical trigger and automatic tang safety add streamlined functionality; this single-trigger setup is rarer than the more common double-trigger version of the model.
The walnut stock offers a 13.25" length of pull, 18 LPI checkering, a pistol grip, and a splinter fore-end capped with a ventilated recoil pad. All major components—action, barrels, and fore-end—share matching serial numbers, underscoring the gun’s originality.
