The SPEC15 platform starts with matched 7075-T6 aluminum receivers finished in a deep black hardcoat. Black Rain’s bio-hazard logos appear on the receiver set, bolt carrier, handguard, and charging handle, giving the rifle a distinctive custom look straight from the factory.
The 16" nitrided 4150 CMV barrel is paired with a 1:7 twist to stabilize a wide range of 5.56mm and .223 projectiles. Direct-impingement operation keeps weight low while maintaining mil-spec parts compatibility.
A Black Rain free-float aluminum handguard features full-length top Picatinny rail and M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions. Deep “BLACK RAIN” relief-cuts and triangular vents reduce weight and improve cooling.
The fixed, featureless polymer stock incorporates a thumbhole, QD sling ports, and a 13.5" length of pull to meet state compliance rules. The lower receiver is marked “CAL MULTI,” and the selector shows SAFE • FIRE • FULL legends, though the rifle functions as semi-automatic only.
Other signature touches include a laser-marked dust cover reading “LET IT RAIN!” and a nitrided bolt carrier group for long service life.
