The heart of this Super Duty is an 11.5-inch chrome-moly barrel that is chrome-lined, cold-hammer-forged, and threaded 1/2-28 for the included HUXWRX QD flash hider. A 1:7 right-hand twist optimizes stability for common 5.56 NATO projectile weights.
Geissele’s Nanoweapon-coated Reliability-Enhanced bolt carrier group teams with a Super 42 braided buffer spring and H3 buffer to enhance cyclic performance and reduce felt recoil. A maritime bolt catch further improves manipulations in adverse conditions.
The MK16 10.5-inch Super Modular Rail, derived from USSOCOM URG-I requirements, offers full-length M-LOK slots and integral QD swivel points while keeping weight down with 6061-T6 aluminum construction. Its slim contour aligns cleanly with the upper receiver for uninterrupted optics mounting.
